The Praia do Alemão Beach, also known as Barranco de Canas Beach, is a beautiful beach with green and turquoise water usually very calm which give it a nearly paradisiacal environment.

Through this beach you might spot a wide diversity of birds on top of the surrounding cliffs.

The sea erosion over the cliffs formed different and interesting structures which you might observe on this beach as arches, grottos and others.

Due to the instability of the cliffs it’s advisable not to get too close to the edge or walk along the bluff.
