Aveiro Train Station Facade, Portugal

Admire the art of tiles painting on the facade of the Aveiro Train Station.

Aveiro Train station is part of the North Line and is localized in front of the Station Square.

What makes this station unique from several others is the fact of holding, on its facade, monumental polychrome tiles (blue and yellow) representing railway, natural, cultural scenes as well as regional’s traditional activities.

Here you might spend some time admiring the different motives and scenes on the West East Face as well as on the Sanitary Buildings. Some of the most popular elements are: the fisherman, the Aveiro Central Chanel, the saltworks, the city’s coat of arms and several others.
