The Ermida de Santo André Shrine of the city of Beja boasts a beautiful Gothic-Mudejar style. According to the tradition, it was built by command of King D. Sancho I to commemorate the taking of Beja from the Moors in 1162. However, the lancet arch dates back to the 15th century.

This shrine is currently listed as National Monument.
