The Igreja de São Pedro Church in Faro was built in the 16th century and features a good-sized portico in Renaissance style.

The interior is decorated by a frieze of polychromic tiles from the 18th century. Similarly, one of the chapels is covered floor-to-ceiling in white and blue tiles. The Capela do Santíssimo Sacramento is paneled in wood.
