The Museu do Douro (Douro Museum) is located in a pretty refurbished warehouse in the very bank of the river, in the city of Peso da Régua, northern Portugal.

Here you will see contemporary paintings, impressionist landscapes, and old texts about the Douro; as well as an old cargo ship with flat bottom.

The museum also features interesting gift store with plenty of wine, cheese, etc.
