The Centro POrtugês de Fotografía (Portuguese Centre of Photography) is located in a 1796 manor house once used as a prison.

Behind the strong iron doors, where the old prison cells were, it is possible to enjoy of interesting photography exhibitions.

On the South side of this exhibitions centre you’ll find the picturesque streets which once formed the Porto Jewish borough and the São João National Theatre.
