Praia do Vau Beach (Praia do Vau) is framed by two reddish ochre cliffs on its sides.

This Portimão beach is linked to an area where there are different touristic facilities with gorgeous gardens.

Over the top of the cliffs, toward the West, starts a natural route which goes all over the rocky coast between Vau and Prainha.

This beach is famous and visited for its clay, which detaches from the cliffs and has medicinal properties.
