The Santuario de São bento da Porta Aberta (São Bento da Porta Aberta Sanctuary) is a religious temple dedicated to São Bento, located in Rio Caldo. This temple offers amazing panoramic views of the Serra do Gerês Mountains.

Its major chapel and altar are dedicated to São Bendo and date back to the 18th century.

This temple has a main role during the festivities celebrated here in August and March.
