São Francisco Convent, with a Gothic style, was restored and reopened in 2009 after years in a state of neglect and after going through a devastating fire.

This Franciscan convent of the 18th century is an excellent example of Portuguese Gothic architecture. Don’t miss seeing the twin columns of its Gothic cluster.
