© Câmara Municipal de MafraThe Aldeia do Sobreiro is a village made by miniature clay animated figures which represent several different professions and typical activities from the small villages.
At the Sobreiro village you might discover ao show the little ones all the characteristics of a rural village with a flowing water canal.
All the mechanized figures are propeled by water or electricity and were all hand made by the artist José Franco.
You might easily find this village on the national road which links Mafra to Ericeira.
