The modest Museu Judaico de Belmonte (Jewish Museum of Belmonte) explains the history of the Jewish families of the town and of the Jewish peoples in general.

It is focused around the history of two Portuguese jews and their vicissitudes in their lives and times, noting their contributions of the world of arts and business, as well as their rites and customs.
