Boat Trips Through the Grottos in Peniche, Portugal

One of the biggest attractions of Berlenga are the long boat trips through the grottos on this island. The trip give you to opportunity to visit the famous rocks with unique structures as well as enchanting corners.

Among the most famous structures are the Whale Rock, the Elephant Snout, the Blue Grotto, the Wide Hole (which crosses the island from one side to the other, on a tunnel with 70 meters long and 20 meters height), the Dream Cave and many others.

This is one of the most beautiful activities to do in Peniche. The grotto trips departure from the main port of Berlenga or through the S. João Batista Fortress.
