Cabo da Roca, Sintra
This is a must-see spot for those visiting Sintra. It’s the Westernmost point of Continental Europe which connects Portugal to the rest of the world.

If you’re passing by Sintra you ought to come to the symbolic Roca Cape, ahead of the village of Azóia in Sintra.
At this cape, apart from the 1772 lighthouse located at 165 meters above the sea level, you might take pictures in front of the local monument and even bring home a diploma proving your passage through this point on the local visitor’s centre. Here you might also find a souvenirs shop, a coffee shop and toilets.
