The museum is located in the facilities of an old farm of Pereira Alves dos Matos Carreira, located in the parish of Ortigosa, Leiria, Portugal.

The house which accommodates this museum was built in the second half of 20th century, and now recreates the environments and experiences of a farm house emphasizing the agrarian and transport tools, as well as everyday items of that period.
