The Academic Museum (Museu Académico de Coímbra) is set up in the upper cloister and the adjoining areas of the Colégio de São Jerónimo School, in the city of Coímbra, Portugal.

This museum tries to gather, preserve and disclose the social, artistic and cultural values, as well as the history of the academic community and its traditions, as well as the relationships with the University of Coímbra.

The Museum exhibits collections of academic costumes and photographs unveiling the history and life of the University students.

Ticket Price:

admission to the cathedral is free.

Adults: 1€.
Older than 65 and students: 0,50€.
University of Coímbra Students and study visits with previous reservations: Free entry.

Opening Hours:

From Monday to Friday from 10h00 to 12h30 and from 14h00 to 17h00.
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
