© Mário José MartinsThe Douro pumps life into Porto. In the Avenida de Diogo Leite Avenue, running parallel to the river, you will find several spots where boat tours are sold.
The most demanded trip is the “7 pontes (bridges)” one. It covers a good part of the river and is an excellent opportunity to discover the city from a new point of view. From there it is possible to observe the typical houses of the place on both sides of the river.
The cost of these trips goes from 8 to 12€ and it normally includes admission to some wineries in Vila Nova de Gaia.
