The Galley NovaOgiva is the Lenght of contemporary art in the current network of museums and galleries in Óbidos. Here you will find high-quality contemporary artworks.

This space was founded in 1970 as Galeria Ogiva by scultpor José Aurélio, who lived in Óbidos back then. The gallery was opened for little more than three years, yet contributed with great artistic intensity and cultural activity to the city.

Thirty years later, the gallery has been reborn as landmark in the history of art, architecture, and Óbidos local history, becoming a departing point for many exhibitions and cultural manifestations related to contemporary artistic expression.
