National Railway Museum (Museu Nacional Ferroviário)

The National Railway Museum (Museu Nacional Ferroviário) manages a legacy of over 160 years, in an area of 4.5 hectares
with 19 railway lines.

Our permanent exhibit inhabits remarkable historical buildings, gathering everyday rail objects,
carriages, locomotives and much more. Travel from the earliest days of steam locomotives to
the railroad of the future, not forgetting national treasures like the Royal Train or the Portuguese
Presidential Train.

Take a ride on the scale model circuit or ride a four wheeled pedal trolley along the Museum
lines. All aboard!
