Located in a pine forest on Tavira Island and accessible only by boat, Ilha de Tavira Campsite provides tents with bedding. The long Blue Flag beach 200 metres away has sports and watersports facilities.

Set under shady netting, each tent includes a table and chairs and a cabinet to store belongings. Some have electricity access and beds, while others feature a separate cooking tent.

A supermarket, snack bar and barbecue facilities are located on site. Around the island there are restaurants, ice cream parlours and bars offering lively nightlife.

A playground is available for children and tournaments of football, handball and volleyball are held on the beach. Souvenirs can be bought from the on-site shop.

From Tavira Train Station:

- Cross the square and take Avenida Teixeira de Azevedo. - At the end of this road continue left onto Rua de Liberdade. - When you reach the river turn right onto Rua dos Cais. - The Tavira boarding point is on this road.

By Boat from Tavira:

From the Rua dos Cais boarding point the crossing to Tavira Island takes approximately 15 minutes. Next to the boarding platform are free and paid car parks.

By Boat from Quatro Águas:

The other boarding point is 2 km from Tavira and closer to the island. The crossing from here takes less than 5 minutes. This location also has free and paid car parks.

From Ilha de Tavira Landing Dock:

The campsite is around 200 metres away and you can request a cart to transport your luggage at the reception desk.
