This 3rd-floor hostel has a surfing school and offers free WiFi access throughout the property. The hostel offers beds in mixed dorms, all with individual reading lights, storage space and use of a shared bathroom. Also available is the option of a double room with a private bathroom. This room boasts a view of the sea and the property’s garden. Guests are welcome to prepare their meals in the Surf Hostel’s well-equipped kitchen. The property also has a snack-bar, outdoor barbecue facilities, as well as a separate dining area where a buffet breakfast is served each morning. For more meal options, several local restaurants are available within a 5-minute walk, serving typical fish dishes and international cuisine. The spacious common lounge area of the hostel features comfortable sofas whilst the private garden includes an inviting seating area, for guests to relax or read a book. The property includes a games room and a terrace with a panoramic beach view. The Carcavelos’ surf school is certified and has surf classes for all ages and levels. Surfing equipment rental and storage are also available. The Lisbon city centre is an 18-minute drive from the Carcavelos Surf Hostel, and features many shops, boutiques and cafés. The Bairro Alto nightlife hotspot is a 25-minute drive from the property. The historical and scenic Sintra is just a 24-minute drive away. The Lisbon International Airport is a 24-minute drive from the hostel and it is a 5-minute walk to the Carcavelos train station.

Please note that as of the 7th of April 2017 a city tax of EUR 1 per person, per night is not included in the total price and should be paid on site. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of EUR 7 per guest. Please note that 1 child under 12 years of age stays free of charge when using existing beds in a Double Room. Please note arrivals after 2200 hrs will be charged a surcharge of EUR 15 .
