Built in the 16th century, this beautifully restored manor offers individually styled rooms with minibars. In the historic Viana do Castelo, it features a piano bar and garden with a cascade. Casa Melo Alvim provides 20 air-conditioned rooms decorated in different styles. Ranging from neoclassical to baroque and rustic, each room is appointed with rich fabrics and original furniture. Guests can enjoy a luxury breakfast in the cosy bar with live piano music. A Baroque-style staircase leads to the upper floors and the library. Picnic baskets can be arranged for a pleasant day at the seaside or in the countryside. To explore the region, visitors can rent free bikes. Viana do Castelo Train Station is located only 130 metres from the residence. The Praia Norte Beach can be reached within 5 minutes by car.
