Discover the Quinta de Baixo

The 18th century Quinta de Baixo has been recently rebuilt and still preserves the charm of its original design. The house features an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, while standing at a 4-minute drive from the historical Viseu centre.

The comfortable rooms and suites at the Quinta de Baixo all feature a private bathroom, as well as bed and bath linen. The suites also include a satellite TV and a living area with a sofa. Guests are welcome to bring their pets, with prior warning.

Guests are welcome to prepare their meals in the equipped communal kitchen, and enjoy them in the common dining area. Outdoor barbecue facilities are also available. Breakfast is included in the room rate and can be taken in the bedroom, upon request.

The green garden area has small lakes and is ideal for relaxing, after a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. Guests can go cycling with one of the property’s bicycles for rent, thus discovering the surrounding region in a leisurely fashion. Guests have access to a common area which includes a comfortable living room with sofas.

Viseu features plenty of landmarks for guests to sightsee such as the city walls, the Roman Wall and a cathedral. The Fórum Viseu shopping centre features a number of shops, boutiques and restaurants within. The Ecopista do Dão path is 500 metres away and includes hiking trails that guests can enjoy while overlooking lush green scenery.

The Porto International Airport is an 85-minute drive from the Quinta de Baixo. Airport shuttle service is available, at a surcharge.
