La Playa da Foz do Lizandro debe su nombre al hecho de que se encuentra localizada en la desembocadura del Río Lizandro, y se caracteriza por ser una buena playa para practicar surf, contar con un gran arenal y estar galardonada año tras año con la Bandera Azul.

This beach was named after the river which passes on this beach and it’s characterized as a good beach to practice surf, with wide sandy extension and blue flag.

This is an ideal beach to visit if you’re bringing children as the river forms small lakes of non polluted water where they might play safely.

This is one of the most sought beaches in Mafra, specially by surfers due to its favorable conditions for the practice of this kind of sport. Nearby you might find several bars, many with nightlife animations.
