Praia de Cacela Velha beach is located in the Peninsula of Cacela, delimited by Ría Formosa on the east, in Algarve, Portugal.

It is possible to access this beach walking through Manta Rota, however, the most common access is made by boat from Sítio da Fábrica, located in Cacela Velha, although there are no dock or regular routes.

This beach has a smooth, desert and practically wild spit of sand that extends up until arriving to Praia da Manta Rota Beach.
