The Praia de São Martinho do Porto Beach, with approx. 3 kilometers of sand in shell shape, is the most popular beach in Alcobaça, Portugal. It isn’t strange since the bay displays a great natural beauty and since it has several bar terraces, cafes, restaurants and hotels in the seaside avenue.

 

For its characteristics, it is perfect for children and for practicing water sports like windsurfing, sailing or canoeing. Beach cleaning is realised daily during the summer, so you will always find it clean.

The beach is preceded by a field of dunes with double chains. The coastal dune vegetation is spectacular here.
