Praia do Amado Beach is located between Praia Careanos Beach and Paria dos Três Castelos Beach, in Portimão.

This beach is framed by the typical cliffs of this coast with reddish and ochres tones alterning each other, as well as differen modelled rocky reliefs.

In order to access to the beach, you have to descend a stairway down the side of the cliff, flanked by deep vegetation.

In the sandy zone, the mud and the maritime sand, which makes little dunes. Its pedestrian walk is really attractive and hast a bicycle lane which goes all over the cliff and arrives to Praia dos Três Castelos. The road is stone-paved and has garden areas, terraces and rest areas.
