The obelisk locate on the centre of the Restauradores Square dates back to 1886. It has 30 meters tall.
As well as the name of this square the main goal is to honor those who died on the battles to conquest Portugal back from the Spanish.
The figures present on the obelisk represent Victory and the palm and the crown represent liberty. The names inscripted as well as the dates represent the different battles of this war.
