Serra da Estrela Interpretation Centre
© CISEIt is located in Rua Visconde Molelos and was opened in the year of 2007, with partial financing from the European Union.
This modern center offers an excellent presentation of the region of the Serra, through a 9-minute 3D film (in Portuguese or English, with free 3D eyeglasses at the entry.) You can get to know Serra da Estrela from a different perspective and you’ll see its main points of interest.
And, since it’s an interactive attraction, in one of the rooms of the Center you can observe a topographic model to scale, with buttons to explore the rivers, geology and other features of the mountains. The centre also offers information for hiking in the area.
