Discover the renowned Torre dos Ferreiros that was part of the walls of Guarda.

© Vítor OliveiraTorre dos Ferreiros Tower is one of the best preserved parts of the ancient walls and gates that defended once the city of Guarda.
This important medieval stronghold is currently registered as National Monument.
The three gates in its interior guaranteed the safety of the population. Between them, there was a guillotine door, one of the few existing in Portugal.
