The Church of São Bartolomeu de Messines, or simply Church of Messines, was built during the sixteenth century, in transition of the Manueline style of the Renaissance.

This church has an interesting Baroque facade, with white walls and walls with red stones.

Inside has a rich set of images of centuries XVI to XVIII.
