Praia do Farol is a beautiful sheltered beach, although heavily crowded. It is located in the northern margin of the Mira river, next to the town of Vila Nova de Milfontes, in the coast of Alentejo.

The beach is known as having few waves and easy access, being a preferred destination for families and kids.
