Located in the hamlet of Viana do Alentejo, around 30 kilometres far from Évora, the Santuário de Nossa Senhora D'Aires (Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora D'Aires) venerates the statue of the old matron Nossa Senhora da Piedade, in Portugal.

The statue shows the Virgin sitting, holding on her hands Jesus dead. The legend says the statue was always helping believers.

Made by Padre João Batista, it is Baroque in style. Despite this, its main altar is Rococo in style, standing out the matron statue in Ançã stone.

The 4th Sunday of September, every year takes place a pilgrimage around the sanctuary. Also, the Feria de Aires Festival is celebrated during at that moment.
