Located in the village of Sameiro, 5 km from the town of Manteigas deep inside the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, Casas do Sameiro are 3 restored shale houses that maintain their original characteristics.

Fully furnished, the rooms offer all the comfort of modern times and include a seating area, a wardrobe, panoramic views of the surroundings and a private bathroom with shower and bidet.

Guests have access to a shared fully equipped kitchen which they can prepare their own meals. In addition guests can have a taste of the local gastronomy at the restaurant Sabores Serranos.

The village of Sameiro is sunk in the pit of the glacier valley in which Zêzere River flows. Covilhã is 34 km away and Seia known for its cheeses is 40 km away. Guarda is a 30-minute drive and Porto International Airport is 220 km away.

Please note that the 20% deposit charged on day of booking must be paid by bank transfer. The remaining 80% must be paid upon arrival in cash. Casas do Sameiro will contact guests with further details.
