The Latas Country House is a traditional Portuguese property dating back to 1911. The property features a swimming pool, an olive grove as well as flower, vegetable and herb gardens. Retaining its original architecture, this house can accommodate up to 16 guests and features a library and 2 living rooms where guests can relax and enjoy some of the available games. A smart flat-screen TV is available as well as free WiFi. There is an honesty bar available and the kitchen is fully equipped, allowing guests to prepare their meals. Outside there is a barbecue area as well as a furnished terrace, with a dining area overlooking the garden. Several local restaurants are available within 5 km of the property, most serving traditional Portuguese meals. After a dip in the outdoor pool, guests can lounge in the sun while enjoying views of the garden and admiring the mountain range in the distance. There is a tree house with rope swing and a airy room where guests can have a celebration, watch a film or practice Yoga, using the provided exercise balls and weights. A river beach is accessible within a 15-minute walk from the property. It is a 5-minute drive from the Alva riverside area. Penacova is a 14-minute drive away while the riverside town of Gois is a 25-minute drive away. Coimbra is a 32-minute drive away and features a historical city centre and a famed university. Figueira da Foz is famed for the quality of its beaches and is a 50-minute drive from the Latas Country House. Porto International Airport is an 85-minute drive from property.

Please inform Latas Country House in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. A damage deposit of EUR 500 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by bank transfer. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via bank transfer, subject to an inspection of the property. Bar is closed from Sat 31 Oct 2020 until Sat 01 May 2021 Swimming pool #1 is closed from Sat 31 Oct 2020 until Sat 01 May 2021 Please note that a deposit via bank transfer of 50 percent of the total amount is required to secure the reservation.
