The Parque de Santa Catarina Park is a public park located between the Avenida do Infante Avenue and the Avenida Sá Carneiro Avenue, in the city of Funchal, Madeira, taking up a total of 36.000 m2
From it, besides having stunning views from the Funchal Bay to Ponta do Garajau, you will enjoy a great grassy area, surrounded by different paintings, which show numerous arboreal, bushy, and herbaceous species coming from all over the world. Furthermore, while having a walk you will find different areas of birds’ nesting.
The standing outs of the park are the Capela de Santa Catarina Chapel and the artificial lake where the island for the nesting and resting of birds that inhabit it.
