The Igreja do Espírito Santo Church of Alcácer do Sal features a charming Manueline portico and, as legend goes, it was the setting of the second wedding of King D. Manuel to the Infanta Maria of Spain.
The church boasts a great geminated Manueline window and nowadays hosts the Pedro Nunes City Museum, albeit closed for reformation.
