The Igreja de São Roque Mother Church is located in the village of São Roque, in Ponta Delgada, in the Southern coast of São Miguel Island, Azores.
This beautiful church built above a previous temples, becoming the first Baroque church in the Azores Archipelago.
The temple is characterized by its beautiful facade, with a tower on its left side, and an attached chapel.
Its inside is decorated with beautiful 17th century tiles, and Baroque altars.
