Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego lookout is located on top of Pedreira, in the Nordeste municipality of São Miguel Island, Açores.
This lookout was remodelled in 1995, and is now composed of a ample and charming garden, full of palm trees, flowers, araucaria flowers, and bushes trimmed to resemble animals. It also features a picnic area.
The lookout offers magnificent views over the northern coast of the island and the mountains in the northeast. From here, you can see Fajã do Araújo, Ponta da Madrugada and Ponta da Marquesa.
